Professional Psychology Internship Consortium

The University of Tennessee Professional Psychology Internship, an APA approved program, is a part of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. It is composed of programs within the Department of Psychiatry and a number of cooperating community agencies that together provide a wide range of clinical experiences.

Our 2018-2019 Internship Brochure provides a full description of the internship, each cooperating agency, and the application process.  Please indicate which program you are applying to (General, St. Jude Pediatric, St. Jude Neuropsychology or all three) and rank order your rotation interests/preferences in the table on page 45 of the brochure.  Please include the entire table in your cover letter.

Although UT Consortium agencies represent a wide range of clinical experiences, the current makeup of the Consortium is primary child and family-serving agencies.  Additionally, many of the current rotation offerings emphasize assessment.  Applicants with primary interests in working with children and families, and with experience in assessment, will find the best fit at this internship site.
